Happy December everyone! I'm back with another devlog. 

I've recently gotten a new job so game development has slowed down a bit but progress is still being made. The first half of Chapter 2 is nearly complete and I feel like I'm still on track to have all of Chapter 2 done by the end of the year or early January of next year.

Chapter 2 will take the group into the ashy desert of Nycto filled with cactus monsters, dust hares, and exploding constructs! It's a very dangerous place but the group should be fine especially once they get the fourth and final party member, Murli! She's set up to be a magical dancer and singer providing either buffs to her friends or debuffs to her foes! She should be a great addition to the team!

In addition, I've updated all the sprites for all the main characters! I probably will work on releasing a new demo build later using the updated models for Magnus and Mimi.

Something else I've been working on is implementing EX boss fights and FOE enemy encounters. Something that is not necessary to do as they are a great challenge to overcome but worth it should you win. Here's the artwork for Octavia EX. She looks a bit more blue and venomous now, don't you think? Who knows what she'll be capable of in a rematch!

Lastly, I will work on adding the option for players to go to Tome, the maid imp in the library, to purchase more alchemy books for Magnus. Not only will she be able to make items but combine your outfits and upgrade weapons too! Per usual, I'll make the upgrades helpful but not necessary to beat the game.
